·       February 9

·       March 2

1. Lessons are strictly for students aged 8-18.

2. Half day lessons (10:30-12:30pm) OR Full day lessons (10:30-12:30pm) and (1:30-3:30pm).
***NEW an early bird special start time: 9:30-12:30pm

3. All level 1 (first time skiing or snowboarding) students are required to take a full day lesson or Early Bird Lesson.

4. All reservations must be made in advance using Powderhorn’s online forms. Reservations will close 3 nights prior to your arrival date. At this point there will not be any add-ons after reservations close. This reservation will not require any initial payment but will get the information we need to reserve the proper lesson level, rental equipment, waivers, and instructors needed. (LINK AT BOTTOM OF PAGE)

5. Parents should not register their students for multiple days at a time. They need to sign up for a lesson level for their student and that may change week to week.

6. Payments will be made out to Jessica Sandidge, who then makes a single payment to Powderhorn. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, and Venmo.

7. The coordinator will receive one complimentary lift ticket/rental package per 10 registered students. These comp tickets are to be used by the chaperones in the group.

8. All students must take a lesson. Students are divided into ability groups. Powderhorn caters to all skill levels, from beginners to experts.

9. When registering, the student has the option of choosing either skiing or snowboarding.

10. Students with physical and/or cognitive disabilities are please asked to make a separate reservation through CDA (Colorado Discover Ability): (970) 257-1222.

11. RFID cards will be issued instead of lift tickets. These get scanned though coat pockets and MUST BE RETURNED for school groups.
Students and chaperones who do not turn in their RFID card at the end of the day will be charged $20 each.

12. Chaperone tickets and rentals are only available to parents/guardians of participating in students, and are not available for siblings, friends, or additional family members.

13. Anyone who purchases a chaperone lift ticket is expected to assist getting students through the rental shop and getting them out to lessons on time.

14. WAIVERS only need to be filled out once and submitted before your student may participate.
