The Powderhorn Ski and Ride program is for students 8 years and older. Any student who is new to skiing or snowboarding (riding) must take a full day lesson on their first date of participation. New students may join our group on any of our scheduled Mondays, and students may choose skiing one day, and snowboarding on another. Parents may sign up for lessons at the same package pricing as students. Students with disabilities are asked to participate with a reservation through CDA (Colorado Discover Ability); please call (970) 778-5766.

*NEW THIS YEAR*
Powderhorn is issuing lift tickets in the form of RFID cards (similar to the technology used on library books) to accommodate their new scanning system at the lifts. RFID lift cards will be issued at check-in each morning of Ski & Ride Co-op, and it will be the responsibility of all participants to return their cards at the end of the day.
Lost cards cost $20 to replace. Parents are required to make a $20 deposit for all participants from their family (including chaperones). Venmo will be available at check-in as an immediate cash withdrawal. Refunds will be issued by March 14. Parents may also write a check (separate from their ski/ride payment) and provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Undeposited checks will be held by a group coordinator and mailed back by March 14.
*STUDENTS AND CHAPERONES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT THE $20 DEPOSIT FOR RFID TAGS.*
*Under Powderhorn’s structure for this program, all students MUST take a lesson without any exceptions. Powderhorn’s instructors take roll-call and check in with our group coordinators if any students are missing.
