The 2016 NCFCA Grand Junction Qualifier will provide competition for over 40 students from across Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico, in both Lincoln Douglas Value and Team Policy debate, as well as in Interpretive, Platform, and Limited Preparation speech events. To find out more about speech and debate, check out the NCFCA website.
In order to make this possible, we need your help with the 2016 NCFCA Grand Junction Qualifier! Over 100 willing individuals from the community will be needed over the course of three days, Thursday, March 31, 2016 to Saturday, April 2, 2016. Our students rely on our judges’ valuable feedback for improvement, growth and encouragement. No experience in either speech or debate is necessary. All we need is your investment of time.
Judging each round is a three-hour commitment which includes a thirty-minute judge orientation. You may judge as little as one round on one day or as many as several rounds over all three days. Complimentary meals, snacks, and beverages will be provided.
Please visit the NCFCA judge website to sign up. After clicking on “Grand Junction Qualifier”, you may choose the day(s) and time(s) that works for you. Once you select “Complete Registration,” expect an email confirmation with the subject line “NCFCA Judge Registration.” Be sure to check your Spam folder in case your settings/servers perceive it as spam.
We appreciate your interest in helping train future leaders and hope to meet you at the tournament. If you have any questions, please email Angie Wilson or call her at (970) 623-1358.
