The 2018 NCFCA Grand Junction Regional Championships will provide competition for over 25 students from across Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico, in both Lincoln Douglas Value and Team Policy debate, as well as in Interpretive, Platform, and Limited Preparation speech events. To find out more about speech and debate, check out the NCFCA website.

In order to make this possible, we need your help with the 2018 NCFCA Grand Junction Regional Championships! Over 100 willing individuals from the community will be needed over the course of three days, Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 to Saturday, May 5, 2018. Our students rely on our judges’ valuable feedback for improvement, growth and encouragement. No experience in either speech or debate is necessary. All we need is your investment of time.

Judging each round is a three-hour commitment which includes a thirty-minute judge orientation. You may judge as little as one round on one day or as many as several rounds over all three days. Complimentary meals, snacks, and beverages will be provided.

Please visit the NCFCA judge website to sign up. Fill in your contact information and then you may choose the day(s) and time(s) that works for you. Once you select “Submit My Selection,” expect an email confirmation with the subject line “NCFCA Judge Registration.” Be sure to check your Spam folder in case your settings/servers perceive it as spam.

We appreciate your interest in helping train future leaders and hope to meet you at the tournament. If you have any questions, please email Taneil Lawton or call her at (970) 200-8241

About Taneil

I am the wife to my wonderful husband Gil who is a handyman. The mother of eight children and I have been homeschooling my children since my oldest was born. However, she official started "school" in 2007 at the age of 5. We use the curriculum Tapestry of Grace for the humanities and then multiple other curriculum for other subjects. I love teaching my children about the greatness of our Lord and Savior.
